I’m so glad that you are here! At the start of each month, I make it a priority to pray over my audience, asking for God’s covering for the days ahead. On November 1st, 2021, after a time of prayer and gratitude for all the Lord had done in the first ten months of that year, especially during Covid, something struck me deeply: we don’t spend enough time simply thanking God. We’re often busy asking for things, but how often do we pause to give thanks?
When was the last time you set aside one hour just to thank God?
That day, led by the Holy Spirit, I committed to a new practice — spending an hour each day in November thanking God for everything, without asking for anything. Each day, I focused on one area to be thankful for, pairing it with scriptures that reminded me of God’s faithfulness and grace. There’s a saying that goes, "If you know how to think deeply, you will know how to give thanks." November 2024 will make our 3rd year.
Often, our circumstances can overshadow the good that’s right in front of us, but when we pause and reflect, we can clearly see God’s hand in our lives.
This 30 Days of Thanksgiving Journal us to help you as a guide for you as you join as you join the 30days thanksgiving challenge of gratitude throughout November. I pray that as you take time to reflect, you’ll discover countless reasons to be thankful, no matter what you’re going through.
